Fall 2012 Semester Begins August 22

Our new academic year begins August 22nd and your CST faculty are looking forward to working with you and facilitating your learning.

If you need CST credits to meet your general education requirements, consider these six options:

CST 100 Principles of Public Speaking – learn to stand and deliver and to appreciate oration. This is a great option for surviving upcoming election debates!

CST 110 Introduction to Communication is a survey course of the field of communication. The course includes interpersonal, small group, and public communication. A bit of everything.

CST 115 Small Group Communication is a terrific choice for those of you who work in teams, on committees, and on task forces. Practice your leadership skills and your ability to manage group dynamics.

CST 126 Interpersonal Communication is all about relationships: personal, social, and professional. Explore the importance of listening and conflict management skills.

CST 227 Business and Professional Communication is a terrific choice for business majors and those who aspire to work better with colleagues, clients, and customers. This course includes a discussion on crisis communication.

CST 229 Intercultural Communication is a favorite for health care majors and those who expect to work and socialize with those from other cultures. This course also fulfills a global studies requirement at GMU and several other universities.
