CCI 2016-17 East Coast participants

Introducing the 2016-17 CCI Program Participants

Throughout July and August, the Community College Initiative (CCI) Program welcomed 211 participants from 13 countries to the United States for one academic year. The participants are attending American community colleges while immersing themselves in U.S. culture, government, and education. On top of taking college courses, participants participate in professional internships, service learning activities, and cultural exchange through community activities.

This year, 14 campuses at 13 community colleges across the U.S. are hosting the CCI Program.

Currently, our CCI participants are fully engaged in college classes, volunteer experiences, and cultural exchange.
