Dr. Ludlow has been actively involved in the education field for 25+ years. Dr. Ludlow serves as a Program Head and professor of early childhood education at Northern Virginia Community College. She also serves the early childhood community through her work with an array of task force committees, college committees and community boards. Dr. Ludlow enjoys assisting local business developers and those interested in childcare center ownership. She provides professional consultation in the areas of childcare facility design, site selection, budget and finance, personnel management, business plans, and creative partnership development. Dr. Ludlow is an investor in two privately operated early learning centers in the Commonwealth of Virginia and licensed by the Department of Social Services. Dr. Kathleen Ludlow and her husband, Frank Ludlow, have raised four children. Dr. Ludlow and her family have resided in the Commonwealth of Virginia for over 18+ years. Dr. Ludlow operated a family child care business for several years while her children were young. She knows how to balance a family, career and the pursuit of a higher education. Her mantra throughout the years has been “Whatever It Takes.”
