Open Computer Lab Services

The Open Computer (OCL) offers many services to our students. If you need help please ask one of our lab assistants.

Enrollment

Prospective students can receive help with their admissions application at the Open Computer Lab.

Class Registration

Students may seek help from the lab assistants in registering for their classes.

Printing

Need Help? Our lab assistants are always here to assist students with printing.

ACEPrint is NOVA’s Student Copy and Print Service that provides students the ability to print, copy and scan documents. Students may pay with their NOVACard or a NOVA Guest Card and pick up their printed documents from any ACEPrint device on any campus.

Using our Computers

Students should user their NOVA account to login to the directory domain. Students may ask for assistance from the OCL staff if they are experiencing difficulties in logging in to the computers, with their NOVA  account, or connecting their devices to the Directory Wi-Fi.

Scanners

The OCL has one scanner that is available for student use. Students may ask the lab personnel for assistance in operating the scanners.

Headphones

Headphones are available with your NOVA ID.

Software

The OCL has a variety of software installed on its computers for student use. Please contact the OCL office for information about the available software.

*** If a student is requesting software they must be taking the class  at a different campus otherwise the Instructor needs to request the software if it is mandatory***
