NOVA Engineering is dedicated to your development of a strong mathematics, physical science and engineering core that will promote your success and provide you with a competitive edge throughout your academic and professional career. We offer several distinct advantages to you, including exceptional STEM faculty focused on teaching excellence and low student-to-faculty class ratios. Once you have earned your Associate of Science degree in Engineering, with a qualifying GPA, you will be eligible for guaranteed admissions to several prestigious four-year engineering programs in Virginia including UVA, ODU, VCU, GMU and Virginia Tech.
Our Engineering AS degree is the first 2 years of a 4-year bachelor’s program. We work with students to tailor their program to the specific engineering discipline (i.e. computer, civil, mechanical, etc.) and 4-year school.
We partner with many 4-year institutions. VCU, UVA, ODU, VT, and GMU.
VT Scholarship Program
Need and merit based. $6,000 per year at NOVA and $10,000 per year at VT. Study Abroad; (paid) Summer Research.
GMU – Mechanical Compact
Allows students dual enrollment, with advisor at each institution.
Allows students to take up 2 classes at GMU for NOVA prices, for classes that are not offered at NOVA
