Part time student gardener needed immediately Approximately 20 hours per week. Hours and schedule are flexible.
We seek an enthusiastic student who likes plants and working outdoors.

The gardening work is in Fairfax, VA. Gardens are extensive, varied and interesting landscaping. Plants include perennial beds, shrub & tree beds, specimen trees, fruit trees and some native woods. All aspects of plant management are covered including propagation. You must have your own transportation.
Student will learn plant identification, plant nutrition, disease identification and control, pruning and trimming, dividing perennials, planting new plants, weeding. Also there’s some grounds maintenance such as leaf removal and moss control. As much as possible we practice sustainable methods.
Pay is commensurate with experience and competitive to the industry. Let’s discuss.
