July 26, 2023 IPM Scouts’ Diagnostic Program

Join the University of Maryland Extension program (and your Horticulturist Kyra!) for a 3-hour outdoor course designed to hone your IPM scouting skills! Following this course, you will have leveled up your skills in diagnosing insects, diseases, and cultural problems in greenhouses, nurseries, cut flower production, and landscape plants.

July 26, 2023: Check-in starts at 12:30 p.m. and the program starts at 1:00 p.m. and goes to 3 p.m.

Registration limited to 30 people.

You can register via Eventbrite or by sending a check payable to University of Maryland to July 26 IPM Session, 11975 Homewood Road, Ellicott City, 21042.

Outdoor event to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural problems on greenhouse, nursery, cut flower, and landscape plants.

Bring samples for help with identification of plant problems. The program will focus on how to diagnose plant problems.
Microscopes will be available for looking at samples.

Stanton Gill, Karen Rane, Andrew Ristvey, and Dave Clement will be available to answer questions and provide additional information.

Note: Bring your own chair. Unless heavy downpours are predicted, we will have the program. If the program is postponed or cancelled, we will notify registrants via email. Lunch is not provided. Light refreshments will be available.
