Marley Robertson joined the NVCC tutoring team in August 2016. Miss Robertson is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) as well as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. She currently lives in Richmond, Virginia with her dog Han Solo and works for a Home Health agency as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has worked in a skilled nursing facility and a long term acute care hospital before transitioning to home health.
Miss Robertson graduated from Lord Fairfax Community College in 2008, Old Dominion University in 2010, and then Northern Virginia Community College for her Occupational Therapy Assistant degree in 2016. Miss Robertson became interested in the occupational therapy field after sustaining a traumatic brain injury in 2011 and going through occupational therapy as a patient. As a COTA, Miss Robertson assists patients in taking steps forward to a more independent life. Miss Robertson decided to become an OTA content tutor because she wanted to give back to the OTA program and she knows the importance of having multiple resources in order to increase success.
