Opening in Fall 2013, The WAS Gallery at Woodbridge is dedicated to the exhibition of works by students and faculty, as well as special exhibitions of emerging and established artists both nationally and internationally. Honoring the diversity of our students and the region we serve, exhibitions incorporate art from a variety of cultures and approaches. We strive to foster collaborations between students, artists, and scholars to produce exhibitions that interpret visual art in a broader, humanities context. Further emphasis is placed upon art that is experimental and cross-disciplinary in focus. The gallery hosts six exhibitions annually and events that promote the education of contemporary art.
