Global Affairs Club | Upcoming Field Trip to the USIP
Dear Liberal Arts Faculty / Political Science Instructors,
Around 20-students of the Global Affairs Club (based in Annandale and Alexandria) and of the Global Links Club (based in Loudoun) would like to attend a conference at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) on Friday, October 24th. Unfortunately, our advisors are not able to go with us, so we are still looking for a faculty member to come with us.
Please take a look at the agenda of the event and see if you might be interested in attending it with us. It would be greatly appreciated!
As for transportation, so far we were planning on having a minivan leaving from Loudoun (Student life coordinator Tiffney Laing tlaing@nvcc.edu will drive), another from Annandale, and a car from Alexandria.
Event: “Risk, Recruitment and Retention: Engaging Foreign Publics in High Threat Environments”
Date: Friday, 24 Oct 2014
Time: 8.30 a.m.
Link: This is the link to the Agenda.
