On Friday, 2 May 2014 the Alexandria Campus held its annual Jean Netherton Awards ceremony, which recognizes the accomplishments of both Faculty and Staff from the past academic year.
There were 5-honorees this year:
Dr. Barbara Wallace (Adjunct)
Eleanor Ripton (Classified Staff)
Judy Snyder (Faculty)
Joan Blankmann (Faculty)
Anne Anderson (Administrative)
The event offered one of most emotional ceremonies in recent memory, which included family and friends of the honorees. A touching tribute to our beloved Joan Blankman and her family left no dry eye in the room.
After this delightful ceremony, the End-of-Year Cookout was held serving over 300-people.
