Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

Maintaining a sense of focus is crucial to surviving exam week. Oftentimes, students may feel a sense of urgency when it comes to final grades. It determines our GPA, whether we can advance to the next course, and in some cases, whether we can finish college on time. However, it is important to remember not to get too caught up in the stresses of exam week. You’ve managed to make it this far in your classes and once you jump over this final hurdle, you’ll be free and able to put aside the thought of school work for a few weeks. Taking a break, participating in a relaxing activity such as reading or napping, or creating a to-do list can help you keep focused on the short-term future.
