Configuring Your Student Email on IOS Devices

First of all, make sure to enable POP in your VCCS Gmail settings

  1. Sign in to VCCS Gmail.
  2. Click the  gear in the top right. setting
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.Setting1
  5. Select Enable POP for all mall.

For IOS Devices(iPhone, iPod, iPad):

  1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calenders > Add Account.
  2. Tap Other.
  3. In the Name box, enter your full name.
  4. In the Address box, enter your full e-mail address (for example, johndoe@email.vccs.edu).
  5. In the Password box, enter your password, and then tap Save.
  6. Tap IMAP.
  7. Under Incoming Mail Server, in the Host Name box, enter imap.gmail.com
  8. In the User Name box, enter your full e-mail address (for example, johndoe@email.vccs.edu).
  9. Under Outgoing Mail Server, in the Host Name box, enter smtp.gmail.com
  10. In the User Name box, enter your full e-mail address (for example, johndoe@email.vccs.edu).
  11. Tap Save. Now you’re done!
