EMOTIONS RUN RAMPANT DURING THE 2014

AL CAMPUS NETHERTON AWARDS

 

On Friday, 2 May 2014 the Alexandria Campus held its annual Jean Netherton Awards ceremony, which recognizes the accomplishments of both Faculty and Staff from the past academic year.

There were 5-honorees this year:

• Dr. Barbara Wallace (Adjunct)
• Eleanor Ripton (Classified Staff)
• Judy Snyder (Faculty)
• Joan Blankmann (Faculty)
• Anne Anderson (Administrative)

The event offered one of most emotional ceremonies in recent memory, which included family and friends of the honorees.  A touching tribute to our beloved Joan Blankman and her family left no dry eye in the room.

After this delightful ceremony, the End-of-Year Cookout was held serving over 300-people.
