AL Campus Opens New Testing Center
On August 12th, the Alexandria Campus Testing Center has moved into its new home, room AA-156 in the Bisdorf Building. Having the Testing Center in close proximity to other key resources such as Financial Aid, Business Office, and Student Services is a huge benefit to students and affords them the opportunity to accomplish all requirements more efficiently.
As partners in each student’s success, we provide a wide range of comprehensive and accessible services. Our services include but are not limited to The Virginia English and Math Placement Test, Extended Learning Institute (ELI) online exams, and faculty make-ups. We are also one of a few centers that proctor for other community colleges within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). We are equipped with the most current software and an ADA compliant testing room which allows student’s access to the CCTV, Dragon, and Zoom Text software.
Our mission is to provide exemplary customer service to every person that enters our center.

AL Campus Fire Alarm Maintenance
Hello Alexandria Campus,
Please be informed that the fire alarm company must conduct a fire alarm test for a few seconds today, August 18, 2015 at 12 noon. Please disregard this alarm as this is only a testing on the horns and strobe lights. If you have any questions, please contact our office.

MATH Tutoring
TYLER BUILDING to be CLOSED on SUNDAY | 8/9/15
NOVA Police will be conducting ALL-DAY Police Training at the Tyler Building (AT).

As a result, and for your safety, the Tyler Building (AT) will be closed from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day and no entry will be allowed.

Student Lockers – August Cleaning
Attention Faculty, Staff and Students!
Please remove all personal items and personal pad locks from the student lockers at Alexandria Campus, before 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, 9 August 2015. The Facilities department will be performing general maintenance and cleaning of the lockers in Bisdorf and Engineering Buildings.
Any personal items left in the lockers after August 9th will be removed and disposed of accordingly.
The lockers will be available for use again on Friday, 14 August 2015 at 8:00 a.m.

This is a friendly reminder that if you rented textbooks this summer semester they are DUE back/shipped by, Monday, August 10th. Please note you must check-in/ship back your rental to the campus Bookstore you rented from.
