NOVA International Relations Council

Dear NOVA Students,

We wanted to inform you about a new up and coming club on campus! The NOVA International Relations Council( NIRC).

The club’s aim is to inform members about global issues while preparing them for Model United Nations Conferences (video about Model UN: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhYznRuDIZY). we need you

These conferences are held at various universities in the nation and the world, and it’s a great opportunity to network with students from top universities and practice critical leadership skills. I’m aiming to take members to Princeton University’s PICSIM Conference and either William & Mary’s &MUN Conference or University of Virginia’s VICS Conference this school year. If you want to improve your public speaking, debating, writing and or critical thinking skills, while simultaneously learn about the world, then this club is for you! We need the brightest minds on campus and the future leaders of the world to join along!

Also, the club is planning to launch a mentorship program with DC Public Schools. The incentive is to hold International Clubs for underprivileged students in the DC school system. If you are interested in taking part in a leadership position of the program, please email NOVAIRC@gmail.com

If this club sounds appealing to you. Please contact us get updates on meetings, events and activities!

How could we possibly change the world if we don’t know what’s happening in the world?  Let’s learn about the world, so that we could change the world!
