History 295: Civil Rights and Social Justice in American History (15208)

Looking for an interesting class to fulfill a “general/social science/history elective” for Fall 2014? If so, look no further! History 295: Civil Rights and Social Justice in American History may be the class that you are looking for!!!

HIS 295 will combine the disciplines of History, Sociology, Political Science, and Cultural Studies to explore how movements to effect social change have been created and sustained in American History since the 1950s, beginning with the Civil Rights Movement.

If you are interested in learning about how social movements work this class may be for you! If you are interested in becoming an agent of social change in your community you can now earn credit while exploring how others have accomplished this goal!
