The Alexandria Testing Center will be closed on October 15, 2019 for ACE Conference.

We will reopen October 16, 2019, @ 8:30 a.m.

              Our hours the last Friday of the month are:   Aug 30th        Sept 27th        Oct 25th           Nov 29th

8:30- 3:30 p.m.   

Placement:  8:30-1:30 p.m.

Faculty Make Up/NOVA Online: 8:30-2:30 p.m.

All exams are stopped 15 minutes prior to closing.

As the semester comes to an end your schedule will become busier. Please make arrangements to come take your exams ASAP. Waiting until the final may present unwanted challenges.

The VPT English Test will be upgraded. All previously started tests must be completed by June 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.

Alexandria Testing Center Spring 12- 17 March,

• Cell phones and/or outside electronic resources are strictly prohibited in the Testing Center.  Any use of an unauthorized electronic device, as well as unauthorized internet access, will be considered cheating.
• Tests that are compromised within the testing center due to any violation of academic integrity, will be stopped and collected by a staff member. These incidents will also be reported to the College NOVACares office.
• A current picture ID and Student ID number are required to take any exam in the Testing Center.
  • Examples: Driver’s License, military ID, a passport, a personal identification card from DMV, a NOVACard Photo ID or green card.
• Use NOVAConnect to find your Student ID number and bring this number with you to the Testing Center. Computers are available in the Campus Libraries, Student Services Centers and Open Computer Lab to look up Student ID numbers and print exam passes.

Due to inclement weather, the Northern Virginia Community College will close today 4:00 p.m.

The Testing Center is closed today due to inclement weather. If you left items in the testing center yesterday, they can be retrieved in the Police Office, room 240 in the Bisdorf Bldg.
