Respondus Lock Down Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment in Canvas. When students use Lock Down Browser to access a quiz or an exam, they are locked in the quiz window. They are unable to print, copy, visit other websites, access other applications, or close a quiz until it is submitted for grading.
Note: Students CANNOT take Quizzes or Exams that are enabled with Lock Down Browser on a Chromebook or Mobile phones.
